Step 1 of 6

What are you using Daygig for?

This choice shapes the whole setup. Business mode unlocks creative operations. Contractor mode is built for home-services trades — jobs, estimates, invoices, and job costing.

Step 2 of 6

Tell us about your business.

Tell us about you.

Daygig uses this for reports, tax setup, and which modules should be turned on by default.

Daygig will keep this simple: bank imports, spending categories, budgets, receipts, and subscriptions.

Used on owner contribution and draw entries.
Optional now. Useful for future tax exports.
Used to pre-fill time entries and estimates. Editable per job.
What kind of creative business?
M
Maker / merch creator
You turn materials into products. BOM, materials, inventory, and COGS are killer features.
R
3rd-party reseller
You buy finished goods and resell them. Inventory matters; BOM may not.
P
Print-on-demand / fulfillment
Printify, fulfillment centers, or vendors handle stock. Keep setup lean.
S
Service / digital / other
Projects, income, expenses, receipts. No heavy inventory system by default.
Step 3 of 6

Location & tax.

Daygig pre-fills a state base rate and lets you add local tax. You can change it any time in Settings.

Your state helps Daygig use sensible defaults. Sales tax tools stay hidden in personal mode.

Choose a state to pre-fill the base rate.
City/county/local tax, if any.
This is what Daygig uses on sales.
